Job Description
As part of a team, this individual will be responsible for ensuring proper operation and thorough validation of Wasabi product features.  The successful candidate will have responsibility for all QA related aspects of the product lifecycle and will have a proven ability to exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to obtain solid, timely results.

Key Responsibilities
•    Develop validation plans and schedules and coordinate reviews and management approval for each product release (include major, minor, and patch releases).
•    Work with engineering team to ensure detailed understanding of all product features.
•    Completion of validation plan on schedule with weekly updates on performance against scheduled milestones.
•    Provide mentoring and guidance for engineers on the validation team.
•    Oversee operation of the build room and equipment in the server room.  Ensure that proper equipment is in house to meet validation plan requirements.  Ensure that the labs are maintained in an organized manner.
•    Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to obtain solid, timely results.

Requirements
•    Bachelor degree in CS, CE, EE or related technical field is required; Masters degree is a plus.
•    10 years minimum of software development and / or software validation experience. Must have at least 2 years of software validation experience.  Experience in storage software is strongly desired.
•    Must have strong coding capabilities in structured languages such as C or C++ as well as proven ability in one or more scripting languages.
•    Experience with third party test tools and industry standard storage benchmarks.
•    Knowledge of software development tools
•    Management / team lead experience is a plus.
•    Located in Norfolk
