Wasabi Introduces Ray Freer, New Vice President, Manufacturing Engineering |
Norfolk, Virginia – 22 April, 2008 -- Wasabi Systems today announced that Ray Freer has joined its team as Vice President, Manufacturing Engineering. Ray comes to Wasabi from Flextronics International Ltd., where he was Director of System Program Management. Ray brings nearly 20 years of product development, technical project management and strategic planning expertise to Wasabi’s executive ranks. “I look forward to driving our network storage appliance products forward,” he said. “Wasabi’s new VMX iSCSI SAN appliance is an evolutionary step in the storage industry and I am excited to bring my past hardware and manufacturing experiences to provide product excellence.”

Prior to Flextronics, Ray held various senior level management positions with Hewlett-Packard, 3Com Corporation and Compaq.
