Since 2000 we have been a leader in the development of programs for over 50 commercially available OEM products with unit shipments in the 100’s of thousands. At the core is our Wasabi Certified BSD embedded operating system. Wasabi Certified BSD is a tested, certified, and enhanced BSD-family operating system designed for advanced network and network storage devices. We start with an industry leading Open Source foundation that we regularly synchronize with and contribute back to. We add to this our internally developed storage software components including our chassis management, volume manager, WasabiRAID software RAID stack, a robust journaling file system including snapshots and replication software. Many of the leading OEMs in the networking and network storage markets have started with our core software as time to market enhancements to their products. Being a trusted provider to these large companies, our quality is guaranteed. This experience is unique and places Wasabi as one of the few software companies involved with all aspects of storage appliances, from the underlying BIOS and chipsets to the disk controllers and up through the TCP/IP SAN fabrics. We offer a flexible licensing model for our core OS (which is available on over 30 different embedded reference boards) - our storage software components all the way up to our completely integrated iSCSI SAN or NAS solutions.
